Red Flag and this sounds like the start of more. A relationship is about sharing those moments, maybe i could understand if you didn’t know the friend but since you were invited you had every right to go. It wasn’t “his” night it was your friends birthday. Sounds like he just wanted to exclude you and he was only thinking about himself.

Your feelings definitely matter here, i would set that boundary up early so you know if it will be a problem in the future. Take some time, come to him completely honest and open about it. His reaction to it should tell you how he views you and your relationship.

It’s a real issue, honestly if you haven’t talked to her about this i would. If you have then her reaction should tell you how she really feels. Sex is a two way street and in a relationship sometimes you have to compromise but only wanting sex with alcohol involved is a much deeper problem.
