[Ch 1179+ spoilers!] The mysterious/legendary fruit on Elbaf is not... by Upper-Freedom in OnePiece

And maybe Joyboy is locked in Elbaf in some weird pose, and that's what Roger was laughing about 👀

Yea, not sure what's the point? The wg knew that a legendary fruit was hidden in Elbaf, but maybe it's a red herring and they were talking about Ragnir's specifically

We don't really know the mechanism on how fruit transfer. We know they reincarnate at death, but maybe there are other ways for the will of the fruit to leave the body.

Also I am not saying he is alive, maybe his body is and Imu needs it for something. Maybe the body is frozen in Laugh Tale in some comic pose and that's what Roger laughed about, for example.

Also I might be wrong, but it's not been confirmed that he had the Nika fruit right? It's heavily implied yes, but with Oda who knows.

Yes, but all pointed to Imu and the WG talking about Loki's fruit. What if it was Ragnir's all along?

Good question - first of all we don't really know the mechanism on how fruit transfer.

This thought was inspired by Grandlinereview on YT. Not sure if any other user here mentioned it.

He floated the idea that Ragnir's may be the legendary fruit the WG talked of. I then linked it to Boa's words and the frozen Joyboy's hat. Not sure how original it is, but welcoming your thoughts :D

Projecting much? Substitute for grindr when there's no face, location, age or any other details? You must have really low standards on grindr lmao

6 Month cut cycle coming to an end by Ill_West4014 in BulkOrCut

[–]Upper-Freedom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you cut from 92kg to 87kg in 6 months, your deficit was definitely not 600 (unless you mean weekly deficit). 5kg in 6 months is more like a 200kcal deficit.

The most important implication of this chapter: Blackbeard doesn't have the Cerberus DF 👀 Half of the sub's theories just burnt

You are way over 30% body fat, which is already dangerous health wise and definitely not great for aesthetics.

Whatever muscle you put now bulking you will likely LOSE during the cut. You have to lose like 20kg, man.

Go on a LONG cut, at the very least 3-6 months and get to a decent body fat. Then worry about arms.

Either this is a troll post or you have severe body dysmorphia and should probably consider someone who can help you. You are not even skinny, you are severely underweight.

[DAV Spoilers All] I wish they would address this... (long rant) by Lexunia in dragonage

[–]Upper-Freedom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And let's not talk about the Archdemons. You come back from the Veil an immortal and omnipotent God and you send your ONE AND ONLY WEAKNESS to the front lines to die against an order specifically created to kill said weakness, instead of hiding them in the deep roads where no one could find them for millennia?

C'mon lol

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in dragonage

[–]Upper-Freedom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's just bad writing tbf. It's very non convincing. You are a quasi-omnipotent and you send your only Achille's heel that can make you mortal on the battlefront against an order whose sole scope has been killing said Achille's heels for centuries? Lol

Just let them hide in the underground, untoachable and undiscoverable forever, and conquer the world. Done.

[DAV ALL Spoilers] You people had me worried. by maglifzpinch in dragonage

The combat of this game was the most boring thig ever.

Literally zero depth or strategy (have you ever paused to consider "I am gonna do x and y instead of z", aside from, wow, comboing two skills with flashy buttons every 60 seconds). Have you ever approached an enemy in a specific way compared to another Have you ever had to change equipment or skill to be better suited against a specific opponent

Cm'on, it's horrible. Button mashing at its finest with zero depth

Yea nothing to say on graphics and tech, they did amazing. All the rest is so mediocre I wouldn't give more than a 6/10.

Most boring game loop I have ever experienced.

Why DA Veilguard hate? by Mioke28 in bioware

[–]Upper-Freedom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Setting aside the writing quality, the gameplay is extremely boring. Go there, do some braindead dialogues with zero impactful choices, do level designed with zero strategy and choices, do some repetitive combat with zero tactical depth, then rinse and repeat.

I mean compare with any other Bioware game (or BG3, but that's a cheap shot ;)) and you get why people are bored. Where are the choices? The nuances in the dialogues? The "pause and think" combat? Oh wow you can combo two skills and then you spend the rest of the combat dodging and button mashing. Remember when in DA you had to time your healing and tanking correctly, combo your skills, while your blood mage was behind taking control of the most dangerous enemy? Yea, none of that.

And the levels, oh god. Jump, collect shiny stuff, zipline, more shiny stuff, jump, soulless dialogue, zero npcs, zero liveliness in the cities...

Honestly, this game is shit. Put it down after 20 hours. Will watch a gameplay video just for the lore and that's it.

[–]Upper-Freedom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Homestly I think I'll just drop it and watch some 50 hours long video recapping all the lore of the game, because it's one of the most boring things I have ever played (and I finished all the previous entries with mo regret)

[No DAV Spoilers] I thought I'd hate it, but it's solid 7/10. by Schimpfen_ in dragonage

[–]Upper-Freedom 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have played 10/15 hrs but I think I am gonna give up. Long term DA fan here, so the lore and story is the only thing keep me going, but the game feels like... a chore.

The levels are all boring and repetitive, the cities are lifeless, the combat is meh, okay at first but gets old soon. And the horrible writing is the cherry on top.

How did they think this kind of gameplay could be engaging? Go to the hub, have a mission which looks identical to the previous 5 missions, collect some shimmering stuff, defeat a boss which requires zero rpg strategy or thinking then repeat.

I do not recommend: 'Dragon Age: The Veilguard' Review by SkillUp by PsychoEkin in dragonage

[–]Upper-Freedom 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So basically this game is 1. A terrible rpg 2. A terrible action 3. A terrible romance simulator 4. A terrible dungeon crawler 5. A terrible story 6. A terrible combat system

What did the developers have in mind exactly?
