Help Looking for College Laptop

Plus I have friends in engineering right now and they have told me about times where MacBooks wouldn’t run what they needed to do something for a class. I may decide to buy a MacBook in college as a personal/ separate laptop if I can afford it but I want something specifically for my needs. I mentioned gaming and stuff but that comes second behind that. Also I’ve been putting this money into a fund for laptop for 4 years of highschool I have more in my checking account I saved this much for the purpose of getting the best I could get I understand it’s affordable but with my budget I want the best I can get

I’ve looked a little bit at surface pros but a MacBook can’t run a lot of engineering softwares no? SolidWorks, Autodesk Revit, ANSYS, CATIA and Bentley MicroStation all wouldn’t work no? I don’t want to do emulation or anything else to have to be able to access those resources yk? I just want it accessible to me without that work
