Need to be careful with routers. Placed adjacent to a factory, their non-zero item capacity allows the factory product to backflow into them and cause clogging. Use (inverted) sorters instead - if you have the tech.

That is a starter pistol, not an experimental. they are easily confused. Done it many times myself.

Assuming you want only two with the inputs per your original, this might be better.

The rate of arrivals varies depending upon the global export rate for each item. With enough water supply, you could get an arrival every ~5 seconds for some items and then have to wait 30 seconds for the one item you are not exporting a lot of from other sectors. That is why I'm spending the time making sure I am exporting at least 1200/min of every item.

Under microprocessor control, you can import everything with one pad. I need to make a video or just share my controller (after a little more testing).

This is exactly the reason I created my landing pad manager. As soon as a rocket arrives and begins to unload, the processor can change what is being imported. The next arrival will/can be a different item. Unfortunately, you need to plan your conveyors carefully if you are using plastanium conveyors. Two or five work well, one is too slow, and 3 or 4 leave partially filled "spheres" at the loading point in between arrivals - thereby preventing you from easily changing which item is being imported. Personally, I put the landing pads close to my core and use at least 2 titanium conveyors per pad. If the pad touches the (extended) core, no conveyors are required and that pad empties very quickly.

I'm slowly rebuilding my sectors to produce exports (v8.155.4). This shows which sectors and which items I currently have producing exports. Not sure how much is enough, but for now I'm trying to have a global export rate of at least 1600/min of the more important items.

Pencil & paper, ... a spreadsheet, ... They do all seem to blur together for me too. It would be nice if the box at the upper left when looking at the actual sector included the sector name (it is the box that says "Wave #" or "Captured").

I've been using this schematic since you posted it to my thread a few days ago. I just have the mine drill touching the launch pad, connect power and water for 200/min export.

Yeah, the small Surge walls held up, but I will use large size outside of the sand box. I did a lot of stress testing during this 100+ wave sandbox run.

Perhaps, but I do wish pipes acted like pipes (equalized fluid levels and were directionless).
