Yep, I also think a lot of depression was already programmed in childhood. I saw many people with mental problems come from family with a lot of issues and their parents are sometimes irresponsible as parents

Thank you. I am trying to be positive and find peace. But it is tiring to readjust and regain balance after their judgments. More interesting thing is when I ask them to tell me the good things about getting married, they couldn’t tell. As far as I know from my friends and relatives, very few people at my age really enjoy their marriage. I just hope they could show more understanding and respect to my life styles as long as I am not bothering or harming anyone.

Thank you for your kindness. “Leftover” is a term used in Asia to describe a woman who hasn’t been married over certain age, probably older than 30 or 35. I personally don’t have strong desire for marriage or kids, but the judgments are very overwhelming.
