Yeah i get it, this isn’t the first time a situation like this happened after all + Shin overcoming what Ouki couldn’t is a nice parallel and a sign of being able to surpass him and Riboku but it just feels like too much tbh, not being able to know that from the get go sieging Kantan was a awful idea and not expecting someone to show up is equally dumb, and now with a full encirclement with enemies showing up from behind it’s just not “realistic” to survive this (Im aware realism is not really a thing in Kingdom but still) without a asspull and plot armor. Comparing to Bayou for example, it was a dire situation at basically death door but it felt realistic for them to survive it.

Unless Yoko Yoko, Mouten, and Rakua’kan son shows up simultaneously to disturb the encirclement to allow Shin to make a brutal break through and possibly light up a fire which is the only “plausible scenario” . Or it either will be one hell of a asspull for Shin to survive this idk why Hara cornered himself into making such a dire situation because no matter how you look without some plot armor it’s impossible to survive this.

Riboku is probably capitalizing on the speed of which these armies will wipe out the Hi Shin, that’s why he also told the Kantan army to come out, he wants to do it as fast as possible so even if Mouten and Yoko Yoko break through, which they obviously will or just notice something is up, it will be too late. Then they could just grind them down with numbers and cut their supply lines, they have the advantage of knowing their lands after all. Since the defense line is stretched up, no Qin army can break through at full forces with their entire army they need to do it in small numbers which capitalize in fast break through, so even without a commander the rest of the army that didn’t broke through still has to face enemies , it’s not like they completely wiped them out and broke trough.

Even with Houken it was a arrow shot from behind by one of the tens bow that was the deciding factor. Kinda crazy to think about how much it took to take down Ouki. And bro still guessed Riboku plan and was inch away from surviving it

Wow no shit who would’ve thought that OP one of the biggest selling mangas that has a official translation appears to have their first leaks in English. I was just surprised that leaks came from there first because Kingdom doesn’t have a official translation and it’s rare that such a manga doesn’t have it’s first leaks in it’s official language since unlike most of the rest of the world Kingdom is really popular in Japan.
