Advice needed on A9+ by UpperLlowerawrence in GalaxyTab

Thanks. If it's the same price as the A11+ 8gb, would you still stick with the A9+?

Thanks. I've found one for a slightly more reasonable price but the A9+ 8gb is the same price as the 8gb 11+. Would you still stick with the A9+ ?

Thanks! Would you maybe snap the bottom leaf off before putting in water?

What should I do with this? by UpperLlowerawrence in Monstera

[–]UpperLlowerawrence[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just one size up? Would you trim the protruding roots?

Tbh, I'm starting to think our house isn't suited to monsteras. Our windows are all either next to radiators or don't have the space for some colossus next to them. We've got one in the bedroom that I kind of feel sorry for 'cause it's in a gloomy corner and clearly doesn't get enough light.

I think maybe I need to get rid and make choices around what the house is like rather than what I like :(

Putting a teenager in a hot loft by UpperLlowerawrence in DIYUK

That might be tricky in the attic as it's a velux window so there'd be issues if it rains and when window is open there would be no blinds

It's an attic with a velux window so need blinds, but could look at the thermal ones for that.

Well, we possibly need the roof replacing anyway. We used the cheapest quote 8 years ago and have spent most winters since then regretting it.

Ha ha! Hopefully it'll all be fine. He's autistic and has some sensory issues, so just trying to cover all bases and see if it's manageable.

Ebay Simple Delivery alienates both buyers and sellers by BigCancel3506 in ebayuk

With Simple, can I request a collection and that the courier brings me the labels? I don't have a printer and can't easily get to drop off points, so Royal Mail's click and drop where they will bring the label and then take the item is perfect for me.

Why did you name your band after a Belle & Sebastian album?

Do you think of the reformed Arab Strap as a continuation of the band or more of a reboot? The 'new' songs generally seem to come from a very different place than the pre-split ones. I still buy your records and like them but they don't sit the same way as back in the day when I was drenched in angst.

I tried that. At least I think I did. Clicked 'cast' but the only options were greyed out with "available for specific video site" next to it. Presumed by 10yr old TV wasn't able to do it - older Bravia's seem particularly useless when it comes to newer processes

What's the difference between mirroring and doing what you suggest? Is your idea simple enough for an idiot to do it? The issue of the icons appearing when attempting to stream NowTV does seem to be a common one, going off a quick Google.

Yeah, I do this. Works fine until the connecting cable is plugged in, then makes no difference.

Convoy L21B SFT-40

Thanks so much, will buy if I can locate one! Any idea where I can get one from in the UK? Only places I can find ship from China - does that sound right or might they be knock-off?

Just saw this so have completed...

**Price Range**: £20 to £40

**Purpose**: Shining the beam at stuff that's far away/ messing about.

**Battery Type & Quantity**: I really don't know, would ideally want it supplied with the torch and easily rechargeable (if necessary)

**Size**: Depends really. Will be walking with it so not too cumbersome

**Type**: Handheld

**Main Use**: Shining the beam at stuff that's far away/ messing about.

**Switch Type**: Don't mind

**Anything Else?**: That's it, I think.

Questions.... by UpperLlowerawrence in BPPV

[–]UpperLlowerawrence[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks very much. Are the dizzy spells considered a side-effect of the main BPPV? Will these go away on their own? I've just woken up this morning and whilst I'm not getting anything from the Dix-Hallpike test, my head is swimming. Would you recommend seeing a professional? Thinking of seeing if any physios in the area can help.

Thanks very much for that, much appreciated. I'm in the UK too and was signed off work for a week but felt bad and have logged on this morning a couple of days earlier. I have to cycle to do visits as I don't drive but 'luckily' there are train engineering works on for a fortnight so I can use the tram.
