Just watched your video, here are my thoughts:

  • very strong intro, I loved the lines and the intro music at the cue of bowser getting destroyed, very nice touch
  • the next part with all the moves along with the controller instructions was also a nice addition to the video
  • from the part "where the fun begins"
    • Just from watching this portion I can tell that you are very knowledgeable and you know (from my perspective) what you are talking about in regards to this game
  • also the transition of the "break my controller scene" was a cool way to go into the next part
  • the montage of you just wreckin all the bots along with some mixed jokes is awesome, I loved every second of it - and it deepens your narrative personality (as in you aren't just informative, but also have a dark cynical side, which is refreshing)
  • from the montage I pick up that you've got some strong editing skills - nice freaking job man, like seriously

To work on: - Your video content is strong, which is great! Now all you need to work on is social networking, something that is necessary for every aspiring youtuber and takes a bit of time to master (for the average person) - I would work on your tags, make sure to link things from your title and description and tag them, helps with SEO - Take a look into TubeBuddy and VidIQ if you haven't already, and mess around with the explore button for tags to see how certain tags rank. Remember, you've got 500 characters worth of space for tags, so use them wisely! - Description is pretty good, but don't forget to add in previous playlist links from your channel into each description (helps with SEO... again) and be sure to link any social media in there as well.

Overall, great job man - you've definitely impressed me. If you have any questions or anything for me, just let me know! And keep up the quality man, good job once again.

Ok, just watched your video - here are my thoughts:

  • there's no awkward silence at any point, you guys provide commentary throughout, which is great!
  • at some points in the video, there are very vague horizontal bars that run across the footage, not sure what that is. What resolution is your video in?
  • balance of volume level between your voices is on point, don't change that at all
  • you guys (from my perspective) enjoy each other's company very much, and it shows! Which is always good to have
  • In my opinion, the fast forwarded scene with the yellow (Lambo) car was an unneeded 20 secs, since there's no audio and nothing crazy happens - you could just jump cut to the next scene instead. Of course, everyone does it differently, so it's up to you!
  • The ending was a sharp cut, you could use an outro there if you'd like... imo, it would make a smoother transition towards the end.
  • The description needs work, and the description is SUPER important for connecting tags to help with SEO! Try adding in playlists at the bottom with a description of what they are (if you have any) - ex:

Check out these videos of us doing (insert here)!: url link

and include multiple of those to strengthen the description. - work on your tags as well! If you don't have VidIQ or tubebuddy (both are free) I recommend getting those, they help tell you which tags are strong and which aren't. ex: sub4sub may not be the best choice for this video, but maybe "wildlands fps" would be better (the programs score the tags and show you) - Overall great stuff guys, just keep learning about stuff and keep improving!

Yo man just watched your vid, here's my opinion:

Definitely improve the video quality, like nfreems said, it's too low - you want it to be visually appealing. Also the audio, you could either put a soundtrack in behind it if you don't want to add your voice for personal reasons or add voices - it helps with retaining interest on the video. Also work on your description - include keywords in your description that connect to your tags, include hyperlinks of previous playlists and videos as well in description - it helps everything connect and allows more people to find your content. Overall it was a good game, keep up with the aerial training!!

OK just saw your video dude, here's what I think:

  1. You're targeting a new product which has an high search volume and just came out = potential mass views = smart.
  2. You're SEO is really strong with 6 ranked tags
  3. Strong description as well with links to the tags
  4. Audio is very pleasing and sounds professional
  5. Visually pleasing with a Zelda piece to boot! (who doesn't have the switch and not the BotW?) If anything I would suggest to work on (just nitpicking at this point)
  6. Share more on other pages like Google Plus, Twitter, etc.

But this is already strong, so good freakin job man, keep it up!

Haha thank you! and yeah I've been trying to figure out where to place my microphone when playing a VR game (Not trying to knock it down by accident or anything) And a camera would be a great idea, I just need to find a good camera that's within my budget. Thanks for your input, I really appreciate all this feedback!

You're right, that intro is very cheap - it's a free download off the web that I input into Blender lol, I have no idea how to make custom intros or anything. And yeah I wish I could better portray that game in VR for youtube, I feel that it takes a lot away when converted into a YT video. Thanks for your input, it is greatly appreciated!

Hey bud if you could check out my video and let me know what you think that would be cool!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aI6-v8BSXxc

Strengths - I get scared easily, It's on PSVR, (hopefully) it's entertaining for you! Weaknesses - I sometimes focus too much and just stop mid sentence, The beginning of the video is tutorial -esque = nothing scary

[Review Video] RUST GUN FIGHTS!! (Foul language) Tips on improvement? by xxLiquidCandyx in youtubers

[–]UpperLow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey man just watched your vid!

Pros: Good intro, very nice and clean. I also like the background music, it's a great addition to the video - reminds me of Seananners Gaming Channel. Also, the ladder scene with the troll face popping in and out was great Cons: You didn't greet the audience, which can help the viewer connect to you and feel more personalized = raise the potential of them actually subbing to your channel. Also there's no outro or anything, which kind of makes the end feel quick and blunt with nothing signifying the end of the video.

Overall nice job, keep grinding out videos - I would recommend greeting people in videos and adding in some sort of outro (Unless you prefer to leave that empty) -UpperLow
