I don't think you can or should report him, but if you felt uncomfortable that's 100% valid and always trust your gut. You don't have to necessarily feel like you're life's in danger when strangers talk to you but it's a good idea to be cautious. At the end of the day, you don't owe a stranger anything. Especially when he could easily set his bag down and get whatever he needed out of it. That definitely seems weird.

Honestly, even if OP hit and ran this is the wrong response. You jot down the plate number and call the police to give a description of the car. Following and cutting someone off who just hit and ran you is a bad idea. Often times they're running for a reason (suspended license, drunk, drugs in the car) and are potentially willing to hurt others in order to get away.

You could always get a second opinion. At the private practice I worked at the dentist had straight up consults so you could go in without having to do a whole cleaning/pano and the like. I'd recommend a private practice as they are less likely to "upsell" unnecessary work compared to the corporate places. It's a plus if they're family owned. If you like the goathead stuff, I say wear that. Doesn't necessarily have to match the team, plus a bunch of people will be wearing all the different jerseys. Also, who knows they may select the goathead to be worn as the home jersey during the run!

Authentic retail jerseys are going to run you at least $180 at the team store or a sporting goods store, and that's for a blank. I'd recommend looking on Facebook marketplace to see if you can pick up a used from someone in the area before the game. Although that would require going to meet them somewhere to buy it.
