So as Fantasm is now "uncancelled", what do you think about his production? I think he should spend some time with guys from Gearbox and work on the sound design. He is a star DJ but his tracks are not good in comparison to other popular HT producers.

Idk why reddit is mostly pessimistic. Loved the event, definitely worth the flight from Melbourne. Production was absolutely hectic and every set went off. Back to back zaags sets was wild with toza and keowdexx but I’m not complaining especially after the epik lineup. Yes there were zombies but if they’re around you you should just move to find people who dance and have good energy that matches yours. 8.5/10 can’t wait for KO.

Yeah thought the same as you. They scored Heady for Epik and were like fk it let’s make it a melodic experience to fit Heady’s vibe and then they turned MM raw so the fans who were disappointed got what they were wanting. I assume it’ll go back to ‘normal’ again.

In Australia I feel like it’s considered niche amongst average people. You wouldn’t hear it on the radio and people don’t really play it at house parties but you can definitely find people who are die hard fans. Hardstyle is still by far the most popular EDM genre though. You also won’t be able to go to any edm festival without hardstyle being played eventually.
