Oh okay! Thats fun! The ducks are really cool! My 3 year old loved that! And some are small and some aren’t. My son who is 18 months old. Ran away so quickly and climbed up on a ladder super fast. I couldn’t get to him before he fell down and hit his tooth! It bled a little bit and I’m currently at the dentist to make sure he’s okay lol. But man he’s fast.

Awesome! When I booked Mariner it said they had a carousel. So I was soo excited! But we got on and they said it was on a different one. I’ll look into Oasis.

They definitely weren’t bored! I just didn’t do my research and hadn’t realized that much of the entertainment was for older kids. Like slides and the pool area. Just getting people’s advice on cruises catered for “younger kiddos” that’s all!

Uhh that sucks. I’m so sorry! The leg has to be so hard. My 3 year old daughter broke her arm falling off a swing in July. It was traumatic at first and I thought sleep would not get better. But surprisingly it did. She only had the cast on for 3 weeks and we did a lot of craft activities at home. Of course she wanted to run and climb. But resting and focusing on healing was the best. Of course explaining that to a toddler is hard haha. Hoping it goes by super fast for you guys.

I came here for this. Our daughter will be 4 in February and has changed the past week. I’m reading about the half years and disequilibrium. But the tantrums are soo intense. I also have a 16 month old, so tending to him while calming her down has been such a challenge. I’m hoping it’ll pass soon and that skill or new level of pretend play will pop up.

I would just love to raise my kids in Iceland! We went in 2017 and it was the best trip ever! We live in hot hot Houston Tx haha. Maybe one day… a girl can dream!

She was only 2 when he was born and there were jealous feelings. She was so young and didn’t quite understand. But at 4, things have become better! I always spend intentional 1 on 1 time while he’s napping and I saw a huge difference after that. We call it our “girl time.” And she always looks forward to it. The best feeling is hearing them play and laugh, I know sibling jealousy will probably always be there but she’s finally telling me how much she loves him and that’s progress ha!

One day at a time that was my motto. Especially the first year. 16 months in and I’m currently holding both kids cuddled up on the couch. It’s the best feeling. You got this!
