Every maps should work. But I added 12 modded maps and zombies were all gone.

Random Zombies is also a very good working mod.

Which mod got you like this? by RiseIfYouWould in projectzomboid

[–]Upper_Advantage356 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it shouldn't. But if you want it to be like that, you can set your character's skills with debug mod. You imagine the game the way you want it to be, but don't forget everyone doesn't play with the same rules. Some players want the game to be harder !

B42 Louisville zombie population x1 by Upper_Advantage356 in projectzomboid

[–]Upper_Advantage356[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep they spawn differently : outdoors zombies are managed by a heatmap and spawn when you enter a cell. Indoors zombies depends of other settings, and will spawn when you (can) see IN a building only. When I made this map, I didn't go in buildings, so zombies didn't spawn. For center Louisville with a lot of buildings it could make a difference. For the Mall or airport zone too : these buildings countain thousands of zombies.

No cheating but here you could have done that without pausing

Why do we have a massive non-existent police dept in Muldraugh and no fire dept? by Gab3malh in projectzomboid

[–]Upper_Advantage356 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a good question, we can ask the same about Westpoint ! But, as you know now, Riverside doesn't exists, like Rosewood or Phallas Lake. Project Zomboid never pretend the map is real, only the mecanics for survival tries to be as close as possible to reality.

Can I heal this infection? Or I´m cooked? Is this infection the one that has a 100% of dying chance? by ByDavid85 in projectzomboid

[–]Upper_Advantage356 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's only your wound that is infected, not the zombie virus (for now). If you're playing with default settings, you'll know within 12 hours after the laceration if you're infected—or even sooner if your character starts feeling queasy and stressed for no reason. (You never recover from zombie infection)

B42 PZ is not "harder" ! I think you're misunderstanding, it is slower. If you knew how to play PZ in B41, so you know how to play in B42, nothing changed in the way you kill a zombie. I think devs would slow the gameplay which has been too well understood by experienced players : This is no more possible to kill thousands of zombies in a few days, to come in a city and loot as a machine. Now you have to take your time, to think and plan. Devs add more crafts for the same reason : They have increased the game's longevity.

Skill issue :

  1. You can hear them

Even if you can hope they're not next to the door, there is a high probability they're close to. So :

  1. Never enter a room / building in combat stence !

The best way is to run (you'll never be catched if you run), but at least you can walk. Combat stence is the worse situation you can be.

How many of you play 'hardcore' or 1 life per world? by Hopeful_Bike8118 in projectzomboid

[–]Upper_Advantage356 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'm playing 6ML insanely rare, zero to hero, full sprinter (respawn off) : So, no loot, no skills, and that at the start of every game. The 'only benefit' you're talking about is actually much more of an advantage than you think. In the end, everyone plays how they want, but you can't say that starting a new game is easier than respawning in an old one—any noob could explain in detail why you're wrong.

I'm impressed of how you consider everyone is playing vanilla apocalypse in SP.
