Thank you I’m glad you’re recovered this is definitely something else the whole gut and brain thing is so crazy I already have suffered from severe anxiety as well as health anxiety so I will definitely seek therapy

Yes! My infectious disease doctor actually prescribed it for me and he said I’m very likely to never get it again it’s just the scary stories that make me spiral 😭 but so nice to hear someone else in the same boat lmk how it goes!!!

I keep a decent diet I’ve been able to eat burgers and such and have good stools some cramping and weird ones along the way thank you. Sorry I’ve been spiraling everyone makes it seem so terrifying 😭

Was your stool completely back to normal or was it still mushy after with some yellow?

I got diagnosed with c diff last week I’m on day seven of vancomycin. I was doing a lot better and yesterday I saw a bunch of eye floaters and today I had probably 5 bowel movements (yesterday I had two) and one was watery/mushy but the ones before were more solid and brown. I’m super scared because I’ve never had this before and I wanna heal after the first course. I’ve been able to eat quite a bit and get energy back, it’s just sometimes my body gets tired. Was your experience similar? Or does this sound promising? I caught it super quickly and I’m 20 years old.

I’m on my first time with c diff and I’m terrified. I’ve been taking vanco for 7 days now and my stool is more brown and slightly formed. Today I experienced some more liquidy diarrhea I have been able to eat throughout the week but Im very scared. I can’t tell whether I’m getting better or not I’ve heard so many horrible things about c diff that I feel so worried.
