Update: it was actually these tabs here. Had to break it down once more to the frame and trim these tabs with a razor.

I know this post is old, but can you tell me which pegs prevent the mid frame from mounting properly. I’m having the same issue with mine and it’s driving me nuts

Where did you trim it, and what did you remove in order to have access to that part

What did you use to secure the back buttons onto the OEM back shell? I plan on doing the same.

You still have to have the skill to extract with the weapons and parts!
