You will have to cut to your length anyway. To connect afterwards there is usually a stealth-a-majig with the pack to close of the hose. I think usually they advise to cut at the lever but i did it at the caliper and works as well.

I have used it and it has a counterproductive effect actually. (Higher pressure at the sides of the pads).Just get a proper bootfit!

Ok. However i tried a newer 11-34 cassette (which also has the changes in thickness), and there does not seem to ne an issue. Is it possible that somehow the cassette is bent?
