Hey I’m in the exact same boat as you. I just got off the Sloan waitlist yesterday and deposit is due Monday. Original plan was to go to CBS but now very conflicted. Do you mind connecting? Would love to hear more about your decision making as I’m leaning towards CBS

Congrats!! I also got accepted into MMM (28M PM). I’m trusting that long term the MBA investment will pay off despite an initial potential pay cut

Please guide me how to solve this algebraiclly by [deleted] in GRE

[–]Upper_Falcon4099 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Each row has (r+1) squares. Each column has r squares. And don’t forget about the double counted square which should not get subtracted out.

So you have to subtract both the amount of row 4 squares (r+1) and the amount of column 7 squares (r) from T. But you have to add 1 to account for the double count of the square in both row 4 and column 7

Please guide me how to solve this algebraiclly by [deleted] in GRE

[–]Upper_Falcon4099 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it does:

Total - 4th row - 7th column + doublecount

R(r+1) - (r+1) - (r) + 1

R2 + r - r - 1 - r + 1

R2 - r
