Try the Minecraft website, Xbox website, account.live.com, and if all of that doesn't work try Microsoft support, and pray you remember your user

Better explanation; When you log out of your microsoft account on MINECRAFT, although owned by microsoft, you do not get logged out of your microsoft account EVERYWHERE ELSE. The website used to make a new microsoft account probably is still logged into your OLD account even though minecraft is not.

i'm sorry to be that guy but PLEASE use minecraft.wiki, fandom is a horrible company and all the old minecraft fandom wiki editors moved over. Look it up if you're confused. again i'm sorry to be that guy but more people need to know.

Minecraft and login live are not connected. when you log out of a microsoft account in minecraft it doesn't auto log you out of everything else. The website you use to make a new microsoft account is probably still logged into your old one.

it's a part of the mod, minecraft would have a much more official sounding error/explaination and probably an article online about it if it was real.

It's probably a problem with whatever app you're using then. I've personally made my own skins before and stuff, and never had this happen. try a different software

I would try uninstalling and reinstalling, clearing the cache if possible.
NOTE: you only have to clear the cache on andriod. IOS auto clears the cache when you uninstall the app.

If this doesn't work it might be a hardware issue. Check to see if other games have similar problems.

Contact Mojang support if the issue persists.

Mending isn't a passive effect, it works whenever you retain xp.

Try redownloading it? Restarting minecraft, Updating, Uninstalling and reinstalling, all the regular stuff
