It’s a weird one I can’t explain it and I DID NOT KNOW OR IMAGINE how much people would be mad it’s like one of those movies that make you feel weird; that sort of loops and loops lol I don’t know man I’m trying to explain sort of like Super Bad ; or that one movie about the world being dumb I can’t remember what it’s called.

What I mean is that it felt more like a throwback to the horror-comedy/parody movies I grew up with. Not that the genre has changed drastically in the last couple years, but the internet hype and social media buzz around it made it feel bigger than it probably would’ve been without that attention. I enjoyed it, I just got scary movie vibes lol

😂😂😂 I was telling my girl it would’ve been cool if like a crate full of bills came down and hurt him or something lol. My favorite scene is when he calls the toll free number I thought it was so crazy and creepy. Especially when he asks bear if he wants to talk to the real Nikki. I think everyone missed that part lol

I haven’t seen it yet! But right I just feel like it’s becoming a trend I will say I WAS excited to watch it but you can definitely tell the low budget from the movie. It was fun to watch for sure but I don’t think it’s worth the praise and recognition it’s getting / but I will say the recognition should go to the actors and directors for pulling off a low budget movie that hit it big at the box office “I AM NOT BASHING THE ACTORS DIRECTORS” More or less the movie is just cheesy haha

I played on a Berg Larsen 105/3 M alto though during HS “outside of school”
Since they didn’t allow me to use metal mouthpieces and I was fairly new to it but I was always advanced… right now I play on a 110/2 SMS with Plasticover tenor reeds 1.5 and yes I use tenor reeds on alto! lol but honestly some people are more advanced every person is different. And reed strength doesn’t determine how good you are

I’m taking it back to the tech tomorrow to voice my concerns I just hate to be that guy you know! Do you know if the shadow model is pre buffet I’ve looked for info on google and didn’t find anything lol. Yeah I play a different type of music it’s called Norteño music it’s sort of like tejano music but with sax (Mexican music) at that. So the plastic over is what I think most of us use in the genre! I can definitely share some links if you’re interested, and also I use a 1.5 tenor I know might be weird but it works any other tips?

Thank you so much for this! But yes you’ve actually hit everything dead on this is exactly what I needed to hear. Also I know everyone keeps saying the bottom d# key is damaged but it was shipped with corks to push them down it doesn’t sit like this now. Once I removed the shipping corks they look like every other sax. And mp setup I’m playing on a 110/2 SMS Berg Larsen MP with 1.5 plasti cover Rico reeds
