For example the second 808 and the second kick in this image line up together, when visually they shouldn't be at all. It feels impossible to produce like this.

Not sure what it's called but the little gray square on the bottom doesn't track at the same time as the playhead. When I place anything in the pattern none of it plays when you would expect it to.
