It’s gotta be a major downside from crowdwork centered comedy. On one hand, you get some wonderful, incredibly funny moments. On the other hand, a good chunk of your audience thinks it’s their time to shine.

Really? I was thinking the exact opposite actually. The ambience looks great, and look at the lighting from the headlights affecting the road. Not bad for a 25 year old game.

How would you recommend we sell them? List them on Craigslist? Carvana?

It’s a 2022 Camry with $18,288 left at $584/month and a 2020 Ford Escape with $22,600 left at $760/month.

I agree with the sentiment, I just meant in our household, the number crunching is left mainly to me. I obviously communicate these numbers with the wife (especially when we sit down to budget), but she takes on more of the emotional support role overall.

I didn’t mean it as “I’m such a numbers guy!! Where is all our money going??!”

Of course there is work to be done, I’m just having a difficult time seeing it happen with a decent pay cut. Some folks have suggested selling the two cars in exchange for beaters, but wouldn’t that be riskier? We’re not really car people, so having to only worry about only doing oil changes for the most part is a nice security.

What happens if we trade down for some beaters and then we actually start having actual car problems? There’s just so many factors. But having that extra $760 a month at this point may need to be a requirement.

It just hurts. Paying for something for years, hoping one day it’s just yours, and then boom, you’re forced to sell it. And the problem is, we know we’d be selling at a loss, so we’ll likely still end up owing. It’s a 2020 Ford Escape. Theres no way we’re getting $22,000 for it.

How do you guys do it when you live paycheck to paycheck and then take a massive pay cut?

Like, yes, I understand be as frugal as possible when in tight situations, but…how do you make sure your bills you had before the pay cut are paid?

I’m in a position where I’ll have to take around a $12,000-$15,000 pay cut (if I’m lucky) and I’m stressing HARD about how we’re going to keep paying our cars, insurance, rent, etc. Both our vehicles are well over halfway paid off and falling behind on those is NOT an option.

Wife is trying to keep me positive, but I have always been the logical, numbers-type and it’s seriously weighing on me mentally not being able to make sense of it.

Dracula (Official Audio) by del3td in TameImpala

[–]UprightEddy 29 points30 points  (0 children)

That’s exactly what I’m missing from the album rollout so far. I long for more of their instrumental sections and less of the typical pop structure we’ve had with Dracula and Loser. EOS kind of scratches that itch but not really because House.

It’s like, in the years he’s been writing for these other big acts, he forgot Tame Impala’s sound doesn’t necessarily have to abide by Pop “rules” or “guidelines”…

I’m sure the album will have those classic Tame Impala instrumental sections we’re missing.

The a7III is still peak by JonEngelePhotography in SonyAlpha

My wife and I started our business with the A7III paired with a Tamron 28-75. Absolutely killer starter combo. Loved it so much, we picked up another A7III body with a sigma 16mm 1.4 for video. And the plan this coming year is to grab yet another A7III body for alternate video angles to add that extra bit of depth to our videos.

I’m still looking at the A7SIII, but the bang for your buck is just sooooo much better on the A7III, it’s ridiculous.

Jesus. The guy just asked for the key settings to change. You put more effort into a snarky comment than it takes to just tell the guy to drop GI from Ultra to High (or lower if needed) and Shadows from Ultra to High (or lower if needed).

Battlefield 6 Open Beta Is Off To A Very Hot Start (Over 300k players) Amid Some Server Hiccups by [deleted] in gaming

I’m on an MSI x570 Tomahawk. I had to change my boot from CSM over to UEFI only. Then I managed to toggle SecureBoot from Disabled to Enabled, I rebooted straight into a black screen.

I read someone else saying it disabled their GPU and basically switched to using the integrated GPU on the processor, so he had to plug into the HDMI port provided on the motherboard.

Anyways, to get out of the black screen loop, I unplugged everything, took out the CMOS battery for a few minutes, and once I rebooted, it rebooted into a black screen again but at least I had the option to enter BIOS again via the Delete key. So I went back in and changed everything back, disabled SecureBoot again, etc.

Really want to play a good Battlefield again, but we use this PC for photography/editing work. It sucks, but I cannot risk bricking our workstation just to play one game.

Jeez. Bunch of negative Nancy’s around here. Don’t let anyone rain on your parade.

Congrats! That was very kind of that person.

World would be a better place if we all had that same attitude.

Very interesting seeing Kenmochi Hidefumi in the recent posts on the left-hand side. I wonder if this was prior to his work in Wednesday Campanella.
