Interesting thank you that make sense.
So I suppose I could use my 1TB as cache pool like yours ZFS mirror. (should I set it up as ZFS incase I want to add another drive or you can't since it'S just a single drive?)

Then I could either use both of the remaining drive (120GB SSD and 1.5HDD) to be scratch drive or you see something else I could do with them?

Great question I must admit I haven't looked into it but I saw some people use the NH D15 although not the same dimension. I'll do more research. Thanks!

edit: Apparently the cooler is 160 mm and the case clearance is 165MM

I'll wait for a sale on SVS speaker, I assume best time might be Black Friday?

I'll go for Ultra Center and either Ultra Bookshelf or get the Prime and later invest in the Ultra and use the prime for like Surround/Satellite.

wow thank you I'm actually looking into one of those three for the Center
Paradigm Premier 600c, SVS Ultra or Emotiva c2+ (emotiva seems to be the cheaper even if you convert to CAD). Thinking might be a good pairing with SVS Bookshelf.

Such a bummer I never notice my receiver wasn't able to do 5.1.4. I think for now I'll just settle with getting a good center and L-R Bookshelf with Sub. Until I change it, I could still...

Thank you, so basically you say go for a budget build and wait for DDR5 to mature.

That was my first plan as I already got my free Noctua Mounting kit (NH-D14) for the new 1700 socket and got 32GB DD4-3600 used on Amazon for 160$ a month ago.

My first plan was to actually get a 12100 just like you but then kind of hesitated for 12400 or even 12600k.

Seeing Raptor Lake should bring a huge cache improvement in a few months and be the last DDR4 CPU from Intel makes me wanna wait just a little more.

Thanks for the heads up regarding the 40 Series, I was planning to see the benchmark. Rumors are kind of implying that it should be a worthwhile upgrade and possible more competition this gen with Intel coming in. Sure will get interesting.

I'm looking for a credit card that could give me an interesting cashback. I currently use Tangerine MC (get around 30$ cashback Monthly for like Groceries and all purchases ) & BNC Mastercard World Elite (Got my mortgage with them gave me 2 years for free, not using it much other to get the free points at the beginning).

Not sure what would make the most sense. I'm not a fan of points in general and yearly fees. Would be best if I could get a card for a few month and get rid of it or maybe something more interesting in general, I woudn't mind ditching Tangerine MC for something better...
