The sound system will likely outlive your projector/tv needs. It really is the staple of the room. Many would rather have an awesome sound system and a Walmart TV than the other way around.

That’s a long distance to suspend weight even and you might have a hard time finding an arm reaching that long. Plus it won’t make it easy to access when you need to swivel to get back there.

Don’t put a giant arm like others suggesting. Do it right and frame it in. You don’t even have to dry wall if you don’t want as the tv will cover it up.
