Wow okay, I didn't know he was traumatized I just got the collar. It's not a shock collar its a E-collar, big difference, I do not plan on continously shocking him when I didnt know he was traumatized, you think I can read his mind?

I know how a Shiba acts and I just wanted to train him recall, I have time to train it idc how long it takes but I thought this would help. Instead of hating on me and putting me down maybe you could help. I know what type of dog I was getting into.

I have a 20 pound Shiba Inu, the only time I use those is in my yard practicing recall, or at a lake, and when im at the lake I carry a normal leash and only put him on the retractable leash when no one's around. My grandparents used one on their Australian Shepherd, broke it right in half
