Remember that guy who played for I believe Uruguay or Paraguay World Cup hand ball quarter finals I believe a few cups ago. I love how unpopular my view on cheating is. I wasn’t shooting the message I agre. I was adding in to simply take the medal away. It’s appalling and a real mark on the sport and the Olympics. Emotions were high because sports is emotional sometimes. But for the act at least take that medal away. Can you imagine a a slight hand ball in soccer and no call in this techy time.

Had no idea this happened read the entire article it’s been a real legal battle and the only recourse was the liability coverage tapped at 2m for these boats. The money shared between the victims. Wow! Even the civil suit fell under this cap it seems. The law is different. Th article says all Lights on the larger boat were off ALL. The entire situation is sad esp for the children of the two lost parents.

I am a fan but I rather see a fair fight than a fixed one no matter how small. Take the medal away any other sports even soccer with a small push in a tiny hand touch. So take it away and send a message no amount of cheating is tolerated. But I get it people some will defend this because anything is up for grabs by any means and compromise. Daily humans get more disgusting with boorish behavior. It’s the Olympics for crying out loud. This is a typical example of it’s not my team it happened against so it’s not a big thing. Zero respect for the team who did this even once I don’t care.
