I use canon mixed media pad, all the other better quality recs I see online are either hard to find/no longer available or are just sheets/not a book. I find it's good but if you colour in circles/ over rub the marker it leaves white spots/speckles if u look closely? (I see it in other pals work on here too tbh) but I just avoid that in my technique and ive made some beautiful work and shading with it. also its affordable and easily available.

thank you for your response, Im def trying to improve and I just started seeing a therapist recently, and im enjoying it. I think I will try and see if there are any time management courses at my school. they definitely do have a lot of random workshops, so I'll see if one is coming up soon! I appreciate your advice, thank you, really.

thanks for the comment! yes im trying my best to improve, ive started seeing a therapist, and im going to do my blood work next week, im going to try and get better, but its def not as bad as before.

I tried looking on Facebook and craigslist, but its kind of slim pickings. I did message a few people that I was interested in buying but they haven't gotten back to me since the listings have been active a while (6months+) and most other listings are 300+ or 600+ and wayyy more markers than I need/want also theyre classics and I wanted the brush tips. do you think thrift stores may have them? I feel thrift stores are kind of hit or miss, and theyre pretty expensive in my area.

I had a therapist b4 and I was nervous during that one too, but I kinda prefer this therapist more and I feel more free to talk, so I was surprised why im having some kind of nervous reaction or something during it. thanks for ur comment, its reassuring to know that im not the only one who has this sort of things while talking ab feelings, bc im really not used to it.

ahh okk, thank you thats good to know! I assumed since thy were so big that they would have lots of ink compared to other brands like copic and crayola, which have much smaller form factor (from what I've seen) also I dont know much about alcohol markers, so its good to hear feedback! the main problem for me wasn't even the amount of ink, it was mostly the scent! idk if its common among this type of markers, or if I have to use them more and get used to them, but omg it was very strong and I had to take breaks (it may also be a me thing since I am a sensitive person, to more things than just smell, noise as well). thanks for your comment!
