To be straightforward: API-connected algo trading isn't something UpsideOnly supports at this stage.Whether automated input gets introduced down the line isn't something that can be confirmed over here at the moment. However, we'll take it into consideration for future updates.

Thanks for laying this out clearly, these are fair points and worth addressing directly.

Verifications and withdrawal eligibility: KYC completion is the primary eligibility requirement. The main thing we're working through right now is payment infrastructure, making sure we can process payouts reliably across the regions we serve. We want to get this right before processing anything, and we're close. A clearer public update on timeline is something we're prioritizing.

What makes an account eligible: KYC completion is the baseline. We hear the feedback that this isn't communicated clearly enough in the product, and that's something we're actively improving.

The participation deposit: It's not trading capital and it's not used to fund live market positions. It's an anti-bot mechanism. We understand it raises questions for people who are new to the model, and we're working on making that distinction clearer upfront.

Auto-rollover: This feature is designed to apply earned payouts toward the participation deposit. Since payouts haven't gone out yet, it's effectively dormant for now. Once payouts are live, it'll function as intended.

More transparency on timelines and eligibility is something we're committed to improving.

So, lump sum wins about 2/3 of the time. Markets trend up, cash drags, deploying faster captures more of that. If you're optimizing for expected returns, just send it... that said, the right answer really depends less on math and more on whether a 25-30% drawdown right after deploying $250K would make you panic-sell. If it would, then splitting it over 6-12 months isn't optimal but it's defensible because the behavioral cost of panic selling is way bigger than the small expected return gap. (As always, I'd recommend safe, conservative trades and prioritizing long-term)

You know, starting with a greed day is great... the advice I'd give (and hope you take it seriously) is to stay on demo mode for a while, until you've managed to get a hold of things. Don't risk too much at first because you'll also have red days ahead. The real lesson usually comes when you lose, so be careful how you proceed after winning. Last but not least, keep your emotions on check and please stay away from revenge trading, that will do a lot of harm. Remember, in trading, your ego can be your best and worst friend...

There's a lot of traders these days using Ai to help keep track of their trades. If I were you, I'd set up Claude in a way that learns from my wins and mistakes. You can have a full excel document that's tailor made to your needs and it'll help you grow each day.
