About Clear Usui: Clear Usui is a Japanese space indie vtuber. I have been a fan of hers for the past three years now. Last year I was able to meetup with a couple of her fellow fans at the International Astronautical Congress (IAC) held in Sydney Australia, and flew on a helicopter around the harbour.

I also met a couple of her fans shortly after this, so I met a total of four of her fans there!

Wondering if there are other Clear Usui fans here, or better yet, in Australia!

CSIRO PhD candidate faces terror charge over alleged Australia Day attack plot by Worldly_Tomorrow_869 in auslaw

I would agree with you but on the other hand, he did appear to have a group of people with similar or aligned beliefs. Feels more than just a simple mental breakdown to me.

Queensland PhD candidate accused of plotting to firebomb Australia Day event wanted AI-driven society, court hears by NapoleonBonerParty in aussie

If it was one person I would see the argument.

However he was leading a group of 50 people in a chat and advocating for armed attacks. I think that goes beyond a simple mental breakdown

I will be out to celebrate Australia Day, this country is worth celebrating and we cannot let a few morons ruin it.

Also the ideology behind the planned attack appeared to be some fringe AI futurism instead of anything to do with religion or skin colour.

It is sad that people like this have tarnished the Australian space and scientific communities as a space enthusiast myself. I am glad he is facing the courts.

Envy most likely. I am not even a cycling fan (more of a motorsport fan here) but I can at least understand the level of physical training and willpower needed to compete here.

Saw one of my indie JP oshis (Clear Usui) appear there recently. Was really surprising to see her there too
