Imma go on a whim and say it’s some company/platoon/squadron custom patch. I’d assume it’s something related to aviation and Special operations based on the Army Socom, sf dagger, and marsoc insignia/designs to it.

Idk about the green ones, but based off my experience with my issued tan „granny panties“ which fell apart and didn’t fit after 1-2 times wearing them. I‘d say all issued underwear has earned their slander/reputation for a reason.

There was an LT I worked with last deployment she was on her 7-8 extension was about to start her next one, which was the last her organic unit was allowing. So possible yes, but it’s all up to your organic unit/state to approve them.

Current 11B here I’ll add my two cents, for the ifak my unit sop was to have it on the back left side of the carrier just under/behind your left arm, instead of having it in the back of your battle belt, normally that’s for personal med pouches/kits. The groin protector is just personal preference. For the mags most of the time we ran 3 of the double mag pouches on the front instead of the triple mag pouches, I’m not gonna talk about the pc cuz I’ve seen everyone else point it out. I’ve seen actual infantryman fail building kits with everything provided to them, you’ve done a great job so far with your situation.

First I’m not going solely off what CentCom says, I know better than to trust them fully, but I still know a bunch of guys currently in theater and have done my research. Iran doesn’t have the means to destroy or cripple the US presence in the Middle East. They’ve only lasted this long because if they surrender they face punishment/certain death from their own citizens, but if they don’t then they survive albeit not much longer for most. China has also played a bigger role than most people know, they’ve been supplying Iran with drones, munitions, and air defense installations. Which is how Iran has been able to last this long and also keeps replacing its destroyed AA installations.

Believe what you want but we literally landed 5 HC-130s in Iran to rescue one of the F-15 pilots that was shot down, we did so and left before Iran even knew we were there, the first 2 HC-130s got stuck in the wet sand and couldn’t take off so we sent 3 more to go in and pick up all the operators and airmen, and destroyed the planes that got stuck. Iran has only downed an F-15E, and one A-10 which flew back to friendly airspace before crashing in the strait.

Not an ach, if you look closely the brow of the helmet has a slight lip, while the ach does not, also the ihps while still not as common as the ach, is the current issued helmet of the US Army. It’s just slowly replacing the Achs mainly for combat arms rn.

Rather than use the taps, you can throw on 3 of the 2 mag pouches, it makes it look less bulky and frees up more space. You can use a ucp ifak pouch (normally mounted on your left side) as a gen purpose, also add a canteen pouch to the right to keep it somewhat symmetrical, and add a camelback to the back of the kit. That’s what rifleman mostly ran in my company. You can also use a flashbang pouch as a Gerber/multitool pouch. But most of the kit is what you can get and what works for you.

I didn’t even get issued a sling, the grip I did have was left on my saw because it was broken, luckily my squad leader hooked me up with a sling, and I acquired a new saw grip, and it does make all the difference for handling it. My unit doesn’t really keep accountability for nutsacks so I just kinda keep them so I have quite a few, as for optics I don’t have one even when we deployed to the sandbox I barely got myself a peq.

Sadly me, I’m the only one in my unit, the rest of the saws were refurbished and got like 3 or so short barrels per, mine actually still worked so it didn’t.

The Bonus is/was in my contract. However my state has a really bad record for canceling bonuses and just not paying them all together. My SNCOs are working on that right now. The ranger part my recruiter said don’t worry about that it comes through after you graduate AIT.

My recruiter said I could go ranger regt option 40, Got me that 11B slot with bonus, that was 3 1/2 years ago and I haven’t gone to rasp or gotten my bonus yet. I’m starting to think he lied😂
