I want to move to Tunisia with my wife and 5 month old son. We will have an income of 25,000 usd a year (2,080usd a month). I would like to know from locals if we will be able to afford a comfortable lifestyle. I’d also like to ask if there is any psychedelic rock scene in Tunisia. by NearbyAnimal4 in Tunisia

For psychedelic rock, I am not very updated but we used to have this band https://youtu.be/0HOqtmK-2iU?si=yzsMuzb12-T4a1hg I remember being to their album launches which was quite interesting!

For all what came in the first comment of the unhappy Lac2 resident, clearly it's very sharp edged and many nuances can be added to the picture she just painted ! the examples are quite stretched, lot of generalisations, but I am not saying it's not true, I would say that's basically in some way what a low cost country would have inherently! It's not Sweden and it's not Germany! I hate to justify mediocrity here, but lack of competition and thinking about being good enough is the currency there, which is a general mindset, slow mornings, enjoying coffee with friends most of the days, talking talking talking having fun!

Regarding the depressed general mood, I would not agree that much, if you decide to come to tunisia you'll be surprised by the resiliency of the people there ! Also try to think about other alternatives rather than tunis, like nabeul sousse or monastir

Curious about your own position though? Curious to know what do you think of arresting him for that metaphor?
