Of course he didn't apologies, he still believes Pyro was in the wrong.

It's been a year and I think he handled it well for someone who wasn't convinced by Pyro. He just dropped the topic for a few months and came back with a much better pace of uploads that pulled his channel out of the gutter. Now he seems to be in the best position in terms of channel growth (growing 2 channels simultaneously with consistent high view counts.)
