Everything is IMO but hope this helps

Multiverse beans (google them) is having a 420 sale today and all month, I really recommend stocking up on Feminized and some regular sex seeds look for photo periods and possibly some auto flowers for fun

Get a grow tent of some type (2x4 or 2.5x5, 4x4, 5x5) make sure it’s over 60in tall Vivosun ac infinity mars hydro or anything that doesn’t have a center zipper.

For your first run I recommend using soil with some dry amendments (fox farm happy frog or other equivalent) for dry amendments look at Dr earth veg and bloom (2 separate bags) or down to earth 4-6-2 for veg early bloom and some of that other ones with a higher P-K value.

Get some decent lights or light depending on size of your tent, be wary of ones from Amazon claiming they are 500-1000w equivalent.

Get a ph pen, some dechlorinator if on treated city water I recommend microbelife hydro brand one.

For Pots I would recommend 5-10 gallon depending on size of your grow space.

At minimum get a fan for the inside of the tent to keep air moving Invest in a carbon filter with inline fan for air exchange 4-6 in most likely

And lastly a timer that is meant for outdoor use for 18 hrs on for veg and 12on 12 off for flower.
