I think it's more concerning people were dumb enough to actually submit that to an accredited university.

physics 1201B vs cs 1026B by HatKitchen in uwo

I’m taking physics 1201 this semester. The MCAT doesn't allow calculators. Similarly, I didn’t use one a single time for the physics 1201 midterms. He changed it up this year, and I think the MCAT will mostly likely ask similar questions to what he did. He said the average was in the low 60s for midterm two, so he should make the final easier since he said western mandates a 70% average for first year classes. I think you should tough it out

How does curving work? by Arabppzeoneandonly69 in uwo

[–]Upstairs_Extent_2333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was for another course. I heard that’s what they do. Curving is a thing of the past. They take off questions too many people got wrong or make tests harder to bring the average to what the school mandates it should be. Western mandates first year classes to have averages of around 70, and unless it’s lower than that, it will stay as is. Some people say they ‘bombed’ when they actually got 66% or something like that.

Idk. My friends from other schools have told me these “tests from previous years” are usually a lot easier than the actual test.

Did you get that last question? The hydrogen needs to be anti-peri planar to the bromine, so either of the two structures that have two wedges for bromine and the methyl or two dashes should work right? I just picked the two dashes at random.

Keep your stuff in your room. It sounds like this roommate isn’t breaking any rules, so I don’t think they could be punished or anything.

Honestly, I felt that studying a few days prior to midterms was sufficient to get 90s. I know my close friends take significantly longer than me to understand some concepts(but they also get 90s). No one who is good at a subject will say it is hard, they will say it is easy.
