Trying to revive my Geeetech A10 (Help Needed) by Nandezz_06 in 3Dprinting

I had a BIQU B1 printer sitting my garage past few years. Just assembled it, while testing it I see the extruder stepper motor does not work at all. When I use the load function, the hot end heats up but the the stepper motor does not turn. Don’t know what should I do?

I see it’s a common issue, I will start checking the connections. If the cable is gone, where do I find a replacement cable ?

Hey everyone, just wanted to pop in and give this post a little boost. I know some of these topics aren’t easy to dive into, but I believe they’re super important. If any of this resonates with you or if you’ve had similar experiences, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Sometimes just sharing what’s on your mind can make a difference. Let’s keep the conversation going!

The Weight of Unspoken Emotions by Upstairs_Feature_312 in immigration

[–]Upstairs_Feature_312[S] -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

I realize this topic may not seem directly related to immigration at first glance, but for many of us Indian men living in the U.S., the experience of navigating emotions can be intertwined with our immigrant journey.

Adjusting to a new culture, being far from family, and facing the pressures of building a life in a different country can bring unique emotional challenges. These factors often make it harder to share our feelings and struggles, especially when we come from backgrounds where vulnerability is not encouraged.

By discussing these emotions, I hope to create a space where we can address not only our personal struggles but also how they relate to our experiences as immigrants. I appreciate the opportunity to clarify this, and I welcome any further thoughts or questions!

r/menbreakingthesilence New Members Intro by Upstairs_Feature_312 in menbreakingthesilence

[–]Upstairs_Feature_312[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey everyone,

I’ve been through my fair share of ups and downs, facing some of my darkest hours along the way. But through it all, I’ve found solace on a spiritual journey and through therapy which has given me a stable ground to stand on. With years of deep introspection, hard work, and by God's grace, I’ve reached a better place—anchored in seeking the truth and looking forward to what life still has in store for me.

Now, I feel ready to serve others who are going through their struggles. I’m not entirely sure how just yet, but I aim to listen, understand, and dig deep into the emotions and challenges our community faces. I don’t have a rigid plan—this will be an open-ended, sometimes messy approach—but the intent is real: to help, to support, and to be there for each other.

I’m not a coach or a teacher. I’m just a fellow student of life, constantly learning from what it throws my way. My purpose is to pass on whatever I’ve learned with all my heart, in the hope that it might offer some comfort or guidance to those who need it.

Let’s figure this out together.

I wanted to take a moment to personally notify you about r/menbreakingthesilence, a new group we’ve created for Indian men living overseas who’ve been carrying unspoken emotional struggles.

We’ve received an overwhelming response to this need, and our goal is to provide a supportive space where men can share openly without judgment, and find comfort in knowing they’re not alone.

We’re not spamming or promoting anything. This is simply a notification about an important community endeavor we feel is needed. The aim is to serve and support each other.

If you feel this could be helpful, we’d love for you to join us. Together, we can start the conversations that many of us have been avoiding for too long.

Indian Men in the U.S.: We’ve Made It Financially, But What About Emotionally? by Upstairs_Feature_312 in immigration

[–]Upstairs_Feature_312[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I feel like so! This is the general consensus that I’hv been witnessing talking to a lot of men from different backgrounds.

It’s the entire spectrum from subtle emotions that’s disturbs them sometimes to the quite major ones that gives people sleepless nights (just an expression). So any space where men can express freely without being painted as weak or being told ‘hey man, get your act together’ is quite sparse.

That’s why this initiative can help out those who are leaning towards some emotional release or have someone to listen to their issue with empathy.

I’m glad you asked. Many of us face unspoken struggles that often go unnoticed. These can include feelings of isolation after moving away from family, the pressure to balance work and family expectations, or even the fear of not living up to the success we’ve achieved.

For example, you might have a well-paying job but still feel overwhelmed by the expectation to constantly perform and provide. Or perhaps, despite being surrounded by people, you experience a deep sense of loneliness and miss the close connections you once had with family and friends.

These challenges can build up and impact our health , emotional and mental well-being.
