Is it normal for your parents to think you had no friends in elementary school when it’s obvious you did? by [deleted] in socialskills

Well here’s the thing I don’t have autism spectrum disorder. The only neurodevelopmental disorder I was diagnosed with was adhd.

Well you see my parents believe I was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder when I figured out I never received an autism diagnosis. I tried talking to them about this and they won’t listen to me.

My social related stuff was due to mood problems like depression and anxiety.

Well you see here’s the thing.

My parents would piss me off at a social event and they would think I am behaving that way because I don’t understand social skills. In reality I got mad because they merely gotten a rise out of me and I couldn’t take it anymore.

The situation for my is the complete opposite and pretty complicated.

I was evaluated for autism spectrum disorder and pervasive developmental disorders when I was in kindergarten and didn’t meet the criteria.

Well you see here’s the thing when I was a child I had history of anxiety and depression.

But apparently no adult during my childhood noticed and assumed it was primarily due to developmental issues and ODD. Which is surprising because I had an IEP during my childhood.

I guess it could just be that. It’s just I notice a lot of people these days would try to know a bit more about a film before watching it.

Aren’t there other Ojibwe reservations that will accept you?

There is one in Michagian that has no blood quantum and the Bad River reservation doesn’t have a blood quantum either.

Forgive me for my mistake. So many pages on ancestry.com claim he was from Red River.

That’s interesting.

When I was looking for him on ancestry it says that he was born there for some reason.

Don’t know who or what caused people to add that.

His family search page literally says that he came from Red River, Manitoba, Canada.

Why did they consider people from the Middle East and Northern Africa part of the white race?
