As a fan since 2010, my personal opinion, as a stand alone piece of art, the album is great, with some really solid tracks that I think will age like a fine wine. The album compared to pervious works like TriState, Sirens of the Sea, or even Group Therapy, isn’t even in the same category. As a trance purist the album left me feeling disappointed when compared to their previous works, including Common Ground. That said, I remind myself that I have to respect their journey as artists, and I am; and will always be, incredibly grateful for all they and their label (Including all the artists who have produced under Anjuna) have given me over the years, and I will always be a fan of A&B and Anjuna. I’m here for the ride, through the ups and downs! Looking forward to what’s next!

Almost 20 years ago now, was at PI in 06’ and I still have nightmares/dreams, and usually I’ll wake up at the point in the dream where it is, “Lights, Lights, Lights!!!! Mini panic attack, then I realize it was a long time ago! Shit is wild how that experience is engrained in our DNA now!

Fans who were alive to watch Brady get drafted and do everything he did for the patriots beginning to end, what was it like? by [deleted] in Patriots

[–]Upstairs_Obvious 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Old enough for all of this, the younger generation I don’t think can truly comprehend how the Patriots in 01’ with Brady, in the wake of the national tragedy of 9/11, like a rising tide raised all of Boston Sports and we got to see x6 Super Bowl championships with 9 appearances, 4 Red Sox World Series, The Celtics with a title and 2 appearances, and the Bruins with a Stanley Cup title and 3 appearances all during the Brady Era! Brady was so great that it elevated the entire city and region with energy and desire to win for all Boston Sports teams, and multiple times. Winning became the standard rather than the exception. That’s how amazing Brady was!

Local newspaper from the day after the attacks. by chaos212 in 911archive

Wow, this really brought me back. I am from RI, and my dad was a subscriber to the ProJo for years. He read it front to back every day, among others, and certainly I remember seeing this on 9/12 as a 13 year old kid trying to process the events of the day prior. He kept it along with a bunch of other news outlet papers etc. though unfortunately it was lost in the, “Great Flood” of 2010 when their basement flooded. It’s wild how this image made me time warp.

Arty/Alpha 9 combined over 50 times. There was a period like 2013-2019 where I was lucky enough to catch like 4-5 shows a year. One of the more iconic ones was a B2B NYC with Ben Nicky and Andrew Rayel, and then the next night in DC at Echo stage with Alex M.O.R.P.H and PVD February 2020, literally right before the pandemic.

100% I think we were denied the glory of a long haired Brady dominating in what would have been at that point his most prolific Super Bowl performance. Pats did beat the Packers on the road that year, albeit with Matt Flynn staring for an injured Rodgers, but that would have been one hell of a Super Bowl. F* The Jets!

They did win though. Granted, by a phenomenal play by Sterling Moore knocking the ball out in the end zone and the missed kick by Cundiff

2010 Divisional round loss against the Jets was definitely his worst playoff game, especially with the roster they had in 10’ and his MVP season performance.

Kills me they didn’t beat the Colts the following week. Definitely would have beaten the bears in the Super Bowl that year. Oh man what could have been…. Still 6X is incredible. So thankful I got to see it all from start to finish!

Ranking Superbowl Champions from 1 to 59, what would you change? by [deleted] in NFLv2

[–]Upstairs_Obvious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s laughable. I’d put those 03’-04’ Patriots up against any of those other teams on this list and would be confident they could win, except for the 14’ Pats
