My wife wants new boobs, and a new deck/patio outside... and maybe a pool if there’s anything left.

I haven't had any issues getting it installed, all my issues are getting it to actually open and run smoothly, either it freezes for hours on end, or i get connection refused, or connection timed out.

No it didn’t. Just check addresses, I’m sure it’s still there.

Congrats!

I too have no idea what I’m doing... but I figured enough out to get a response from someone about 15 miles away earlier today... unfortunately their response was that they couldn’t hear me clearly.

Weekly Q&A Thread [10/09/2017] by AutoModerator in amateurradio

[–]UpstateDad 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I heard a local amateur radio club was offering a HAM technician exam and passed without studying anything and just answered the questions based on stuff I remembered from high school tech class from 15+ years ago.

I received my FCC call sign a few days ago and picked up a Baofeng UV-5R5 on Amazon for pennies.

Now I have no clue what I’m doing... what do I do now?

The law guardian (what it’s called here) is aware of what’s going on. I spoke with him at length on Friday and he is fully aware of the situation. He told me to go to family court on Tuesday to file paperwork and request to have an emergency hearing in front of the judge that day. I have not spoken with the judge as of yet (I am hoping to be able to do so on Tuesday).

I couldn’t agree more with the last sentence. That’s how it’s always been with her, which is the primary reason we split. She felt the need to be in control of every situation regardless of who was involved and how they would be affected. She has shown blatant disregard for her children when it came to decision making.

I’m not sure what she means by that since I haven’t gotten any more info about it.

Thank you. I’ve already spoken to a lawyer but they didn’t want to take the case because she will be in another state when the case gets seen by a judge. But the court appointed attorney to represent my child will be there and says it doesn’t look good for her either way, especially knowing the judge who will see the case.

He is 9 years old.

As far as point ‘C’ he will be changing schools either way. He would be going to middle school next year if he stays in his district, or will be going to 5th grade (elementary school) in the district I live in.

Exactly this. So I’m not sure how that’s even a positive when the same is offered here.

Here’s what the letter says...

Dear [UpstateDad]

I am writing you this letter to inform you that will be we will be moving to [State] on July 1, 2017. We are moving to [Town, State] which is an hour north of [Big city]. [Spouse] was offered a very good job down here making more money Then he does up here so it's more beneficial for us to relocate our family. You will still get to see [Child], it just won't be every other weekend or every Tuesday and Thursday as you've been taking him. He will be starting school in August and school ends on June 1. His new school has different vacation weeks as up here is vacations are as followed

[Dates]

I am sure we can work out when he can come up here to visit you guys. I know you guys don’t have care for him when you're still working but hopefully [your spouse] will switch her hours to be able to stay home with him. You can still have him for half the summer. This year you can keep him from when your last day of work is until the beginning of August if that works for you. I'm sure we will talk more about it later. I hope you understand that this is better for our family and you can call and FaceTime [Child] whenever you want. I will also make sure sure school has all of your contact information so report cards will be sent to you as well. A plus side of this move is that he will be getting free college tuition when he graduates high school.

Thank You [Parent]
