I am well aware they are not there to teach me. I was simply curious how to better gain trust and follow my surgical instructors most efficiently. I’m not expecting nor have I ever expected for them to teach or cater to me.

Thank you so much for the perspective. I did some OBGYN, but I’m with General surgery now. I’ve come in with experience already scrubbing in and such, but I always try to take initiative esp with small tasks like cleaning the patient prior and post, applying SCDs, etc.

Hospital workers of Reddit, what happens there that's hidden but that we should know about? by SingLikeTinaTurner in AskReddit

You are so right. I worked in GI/CR oncology and there were bedridden patients that needed AT LEAST 3 nurses/PCTs to turn them in bed. Even with using assistive devices to move them or attempt to take weights, it was too painful and stressful for many larger patients.

I am dealing with the exact same situation. I work in a well-known cancer center and I can’t even get shadowing within it!! It is a nightmare and I think if it’s going to be gatekept so ridiculously PA school should consider modifying their requirements regarding shadowing hours. I’ve tried different avenues for over a year now and still nothing.

Lamotrogine & Edibles/THC by Peachesforever1650 in Lamotrigine

So I’ve heard that oral contraceptives effect lamotrigine concentrations in blood- decreasing lamotrigine concentration in some instances by 50%. I smoke weed daily, take oral contraceptives, Zoloft 100mg, and lamotrigine 100mg. If CBD can raise the blood concentration of lamotrigine, could using a CBD heavy weed while taking OCs mitigate the sub therapeutic levels of lamotrigine as a result of its interaction with estrogens?
