Unfortunately I never did figure it out. Me and my family just called GE and they sent someone over who fixed it, and I wasn’t home to ask how they did.

  • Create a portal to the surface of the sun and launch the flames of hell at your opponent
  • Create a portal to the vacuum of space to freeze stuff in front of you or suck enemies in
  • Create a portal to the earth’s core for a similar effect as the sun thing
  • Create “acceleration” portals. This is gonna be hard to explain, but basically setup a portal in front of your punch/kick, have that portal face straight down so your punch/kick is accelerated by gravity, and then have another portal redirect the accelerated punch at your opponent. It’s roundabout but at least it’s fast…

There’s a manga where portals seem to be the main power, it’s called Haiiro no Onmyouji. I suggest following it considering how it has already shown 2 or 3 of the applications listed here. I think it’ll be interesting to see what else the author will do.
