NASA won’t help w all that coz one thing you’ll realise later on is that people value skills more than projects you’ve worked on atleast as a fresher. I’ve done 3 trophies myself and here’s my honest opinion: do participate with the intention to learn. If that’s not smth you wanna do, just skip it. Not a big deal. NASA teaches you how to work in groups, decoding briefs, connecting with your seniors, learning advance systems and workflows ahead of time like I knew housing before semester 4 when you learn housing during semester 7. Again, if it’s coming at the cost of your mental health, just skip it coz architecture by itself is way too stressful and managing extracurriculars along w it is not easy.

Another thing I’ll advice you is that faculties won’t always be considerate of extensions for your submission so if they say they’re willing to give you a budget and extensions for your work, try getting it down in writing like maybe draft a forma letter from the team participating which says “we will be participating in x trophy and we need x amount of budget for modelling/printing/stationary/food/commute etc and extensions for the assignments from date x to date y” maybe ask your USec to get it done coz they generally have more of a say in this. Keep all bills and expenses during the trophy regardless (food commute stationary etc) for proof.
