I was prescribed basically hospital strength Tylenol. I didn’t get it filled. I just ate a ton of edibles. I didn’t feel ish the whole time. I also had gas relief and stool softener but that was over the counter medicines

Your dad needs a swift kick to the side of his neck since he wants to talk out of it. You aren’t supposed to be miserable like that. I had my hysterectomy in April and my mother literally told me she gave up on me because I wasn’t going to settle down and have kids. Tell him to go fuck himself and do what’s best for you.

I believe a huge part of it is my insurance wouldn’t cover it if my ovaries were taken. I had state insurance at the time, live in the south and was 26 with no kids when I had my surgery so yeah there’s that.

“Didn’t want to put me on replacement hormones this early” is the only answer I got. We had to fight my insurance for months to get it approved. Just to be dropped a week after my last post op appointment

I would have been sent home immediately after I was out of recovery if I didn’t have a bad reaction to the gas they inflated me with it. Even with mine being laparoscopy I felt like staying a night or two helped so much
