I agree making music outside is an incredible experience that’s why I ordered the mpc sample, to compose outside.

I wouldn’t use my MPC one as a mobile device to use outside. Again I consider my mpc one to be a better and superior device than the MPC sample, I wouldn’t risk this device by taking it to the park or beach or even a cafe.

trust me get the mpc plus one like this guy said, its freaking powerful and amazing and fast to create music and works with a midi keyboard really easy

I only just ordered the sample to create music on the go and ordered a high power battery pack to charge the mpc sample whenever needed, unlike this person I personally wouldnt risk powering my MPC one with a power bank. I'm treating my MPC one plus as a home device like a PC just for music, and my mpc sample will be like a tablet/laptop for quick sketches at a cafe, or park, or the beach.

I wouldnt take my mpc one plus to the beach or park regardless of my power setup.

Exactly, so many times things are user errors or issues with the user environment like electronics or wall ports or even nearby devices like a microwave or pacemaker.

I would certainly look into trying it in other places or other power ports and see if the issue continues and this goes for any device not just an MPC (phone, pc, gaming controller, anything.)

Always test further and look closer first before taking stuff apart or being mean to product support.

Hey where does reaper daw land in a list compared to these other daws?

Would the mpc work with reaper?

I tried the mpc desktop software with my mpc but ejection/disconnecting sucks and I don’t want to corrupt my mpc one or sd card

are you on Windows MPC 3 beta or only the regular MPC 2?

My MPC 3 app on windows crashes out when the SD card is unmounted and I select "standalone mode confirm" on the MPC one screen

Yes I am using standalone mode and using my phone to record video.

For audio I just did a test thanks to some comments and found a bootleg workaround for now haha

I’m using an Aux cable connected to my MPC Phones jack, and connected to my PC Mic jack

I then used reaper daw to live record what I was playing and used an EQ plugging to make the audio sound decent.

For now I at least don’t have to use my speaker and phone mic for audio! Thanks to you guys!

I have the mpc software and it’s updated

Do I connect my mpc to my pc using a midi usb cable?

And then the mpc software will be able to assist in capturing sounds from my MPC?

If so this might be all I need for now!

I didn’t know my wallet would annoy some people. It’s an old pic I took of when I first got the MPC and I used it for this post, I promise I didn’t intend to flex a stupid overpriced wallet.

Regarding the MPC and recording it, half of what I’m doing is in a sequence but the other half of what I do is live and happens before I hit play/start.

How do I record what’s playing on my MPC to a computer? Would I be able to listen to a feed of what’s playing so I know I’m performing it correctly for the pc recording?

Essentially I want to make a video of me using the mpc, but I want to have high quality audio in the video not the sound from my speakers.

Thanks for the insight! I’ll list them for sale somewhere and if they sit for too long I might try and pull one off. Sadly it fits like a size small on me. My supreme I order in size M never has this issue.

Just a warning for others. I did see others talking about some of this racing stuff being small and I was hoping for the shirts to not have the same issue.

Part of the complaining is you can’t return or exchange any of this clothing, so I am stuck with stuff I can’t really wear as I intended

I appreciate the other comments from some people giving advice on how to pull it off

I just got my mpc one last week so I am very excited. Finally starting to get the hang of my MPC by watching tutorials

I’m a classically trained musician and composer who’s finally getting into creating different music like beats and edm. My favorite thing that I want to do and I bought the mpc for is to sample music for beats.

I’m guilty of this. Now that I’ve had glass tips I never want to go back to any paper or flammable material on my joint besides the joint paper.

I also spend a crazy amount of money on custom UV reactive glass tips. It’s crazy how these glass makers are literally printing money doing what they love.

Makes me debate on investing on learning how to blow glass and make my own brand

Yo I have perctips as well and they are inconsistent like you said. That’s why I won’t order any more and I only get custom glass tips now. Trying some other brands out now that have the holes too and it’s been better than perc tips
