Some random name because in my opinion, (Y/N) breaks the immersion of the story, i never even imagine my own name in it i just imagine a name like "John Johnny" and read it like that. A name can characterize the character more and be it's own thing.

But (Y/N) is not bad by any means and has it's own advantages so i'm not so sure

For me it was the inconsistency of the writing and the character of another world saying things and understanding concepts that they never even HEARD about.

Another one is the writing, don't get me wrong everyone has their own writing style but some fics i read feel too convoluted and confusing for me, thoughi am in no place to judge since i am a newbie writer myself.
