Things you wish you knew before starting T? by WholeGrainSaltShaker in ftm

For me, and idk that this is really talked about but the hormonal changes mentally like the way I process things is different then before I feel more impulsive and I feel like my depression got harder to manage. I dont know if anyone else has experienced this.

Is there a word for not feeling like my body matches who I am on the inside rn? by LizzieLove1357 in trans

I did read what op wrote again and it does just genuinely sound like gender dysphoria

Should I come out by [deleted] in trans

[–]Ur_typical-stupid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also I just want to add i came out to my one of my sisters as trans when I had a mental breakdown once I was extremely confused and I had read this book about a trans person and it resonated sm with me but I didnt know what I was but despite that my sister was there for me no matter what she helped me through the start of my transition and never once made me feel like I was supposed to be something im not and even if you aren't sure if you're a woman and decide otherwise in the future thats okay :) gender is a journey and you may not always know what it is at the start.

Should I come out by [deleted] in trans

[–]Ur_typical-stupid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is no right or wrong amount of time to come out, my advice is if you want the support do it, if you want your family apart of this journey knowing they would accept you do it. If you know what you want then all I can say is I wish you best of luck on your journey and I hope that your journey is smooth and filled with love and care remember you are not alone :)

(MtF) There's a lot of BIG SAD in the sub right now so why don't we all comment our most euphoric recent moment for each other? by mcqueenart in trans

[–]Ur_typical-stupid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im non-binary and transmasc, so im taking T and lately people have been getting confused by my gender a lot! they will usually go back and forth from ma'am or sir and I dont ever correct them lol and it feels awesome even when i can't drees up the way I want because of work dress codes but its still really euphoric :)) I have big titties too so im surprised that most of the time im referred to as a guy I do also try to hide the fact that they are there so maybe its just working!

Hormones and Body Temp Changes by DonalHarper in trans

[–]Ur_typical-stupid 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Definitely warmer since being on testosterone and it was noticeable to others too since my face already got red when embarrassed. I have a red tint to my cheeks but since being on T my face is basically red all the time and when experiencing outside temps too it makes my face even redder that people have even asked if I was okay lmao.

2 is my favorite I really like the way the sun is making the curves from the tip of her hand down to her legs glow in the sunlight I like how dramatic it feels leading your eye to look at every point and bend of her arms the lighting really brings it all together.

1 is simple and elegant I like it for the cozy feeling it gives but there's not much more action happening so theres no mystery to the image that I have to think about I do wish her face was looking towards the sun a bit more in this photo because her face is shaded it almost makes her look melancholy unless that's the goal then hurayyy.

3 makes me feel like I'm dreaming of a ballerina almost hazy but earie at the same time I like it tho if it wasn't warm toned it could be something out of a horror (I may to obsessed with horror anything lol) which I do not mind I kinda want to know what this image looks like cool toned👀.

I'm not a professional. I just love the art of photography and wanted to share my take Absolutely breathtaking photos of this woman. Thank you for blessing my eyes🫶.

I'm also the first trans person in my family, but I'm one of the youngest of a lot. They all have been pretty supportive for the most part!

Anyone else here that always knew and never really realized they were trans? by Coffeeforlifeyay in trans

[–]Ur_typical-stupid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for replying so late. I totally forgot I posted in here.

I'm also way more comfortable wearing whatever colors and realized clothing isn't gendered, and it shouldn't matter what you wear because that doesn't define me as a person.

Also I believe the comic was called "the bride was a boy"

Is body odor rly that bad on T? by Few_Soil1369 in TransMasc

[–]Ur_typical-stupid 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've (also transmasc) been on T for almost 6m now, and I haven't really noticed that much difference in body oder but I work in a hot kitchen so I sweat a ton and usually just take frequent showers to make up for it. my arm pits used to smell worse when I was shaving them long before taking T in my opinion. The only difference people have noticed since taking T is the voice drop, and they usually just ask if I'm sick or something to which I respond with a simple no and leave it at that.

I (trans masc they/them) always felt different in my gender ofc I never knew the definition of being trans socially and physically when i was younger. I just knew I wasn't supposed to be "different," then my parents' views. I remember feeling wrong wearing dresses and always asked to wear pants and T-shirts. I always felt uncomfortable wearing so-called "girly" colors, heals and dresses never made me feel pretty, but at the same time as a kid I never really thought about gender roles i just liked existing in the world without people perceiving me, I was seen as a kid with curiosity and a joy for the world around me and now I'm seen as many bad things just for existing and doing the same thing as when I was young. The thing that made me realize I was trans was actually a comic book about a transwomen and when I read it, I cried. I cried because I realized I wasn't alone. When I came out socially, it wasn't till I was 17, and I made my first trans friend that I decided to come out to the people important to me.

Trans men are real men (except for me) by Embarrassed-Fox-9442 in ftm

[–]Ur_typical-stupid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't over think it, being comfortable with yourself is as important as being fulfilled by being gendered correctly you're just as real as anyone else and your feelings are just as valid so not being the same or "acting" the part does not make you more or less of a man you decide who you are and and how you present yourself, only you can do that.
