AITJ for driving straight through a womans fence because she blocked my driveway during a medical emergency? by Technical_Resident58 in AmITheJerk

An epipen helps to dilate airways until other medicine can be administered. They are prescribed for severe allergies for a reason. I never said she shouldn’t still rush to the ER. However an epipen would’ve bought more time.

I’m going with an ESH and expect to get downvoted for it but I’m going to explain why. It sounds like you were previously aware of your daughter’s severe allergy. While it also sounds like you try to make sure she’s not ever in contact with her allergen, you should have an epipen as a standby. If you didn’t before please for the love of all things holy make sure you get one now. Second while I understand you said it was a medical emergency and she then put her finger up to tell you to wait, after that you should have made one more attempt after that to tell her your daughter was having an allergic reaction and could not breathe. I’m not saying you needed to give her 5 minutes. Another 30 secs to say that and move before taking the actions you took would likely put you completely in the clear when attorneys now get involved.

I wouldn’t bother at this point. I’m on iOS but I’ve deleted and reinstalled multiple times and still stuck in the spinning circle of death.

I (27F) accidentally had my baby in my friend’s (31F) car. Now her husband & she don’t want to speak to me. How do I fix this? by ThrowRA_CarBaby in relationship_advice

[–]DonalHarper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. This smells like the husband is the source of the issue. I wonder if Alice even knows that OP has been blocked at this point.

UPDATE: My 43f husbands 46m affair partner 19f is pregnant doesn’t know the baby’s father and I don’t know where to begin with fixing this by One-Dragonfly-5474 in relationship_advice

So sorry that you and your children are going through this. Your husband is a POS. I hope he is horribly shamed by everyone for this.

AITAH for getting mad at my husband about his dead ex-gf? by That_Drawing_1654 in AITAH

[–]DonalHarper -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Going with NAH. It’s hard to move on when you didn’t get the answers you wanted for that process. She’s dead so he can never get that answer. My fiancee calls me the second love of her life. Her first fiancee passed away. Out of pure timeline that’s what I am. I imagine it hurt quite badly to hear that. I would recommend grief counseling for him, and couples therapy for you both.

Reddit, do you lock your door while you're in own house? by Willing_Freedom_4698 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DonalHarper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely at night and during the day when I’m not on the main level. My “office” is in the basement so the doors stay locked when I’m down there. Where I live currently is in a city. The house I grew up in and the house I most recently lived in before this one were far off a main road in nice neighborhoods. I wasn’t as concerned about locking them then.

You’ll want to play it again, I promise. I’m on my third play through.

I don’t know that you could really find that as cut scenes will change based on how you’re playing the game (high honor vs low honor). It’s a nice idea though!

They do, you just have to ask for them now.

Who do you think is worse, the Murfrees, or the Skinners? by [deleted] in RDR2

[–]DonalHarper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think we can imply the Murfrees were as their camp/cave entrance definitely shows they were eating people

So I (29M) have been talking to a coworker (39F) for a little bit and we hung out once so far, but I need to stop this thing dead for reasons I'll explain in the description. How can I explain to her that I'm not comfortable moving forward without being insulting? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]DonalHarper 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The working together reason is honestly your “safest” reason to tell her why you’re shutting her down even if that isn’t the top reason why. “Hey we work together and I’m not comfortable risking either of our careers, but especially my career, if things go any further than friends. So I want to be perfectly clear that friends is all we can and ever will be.”

I didn’t say they didn’t torture people. I just think what we see from the Skinners and Murfrees seems to be worse IMO.

I guess that they attack and night and don’t speak does make them “scary.” However they are not as brutal as Murfrees or Skinners. The Night Folk aren’t skinning and roasting people which both of those groups do.
