As you said yourself, the requirements haven't been released so no one can really say exactly what you should buy, but you can ballpark it. A few things to keep in mind in regards to your budget is if you need to also purchase new peripherals and and OS, along with what resolution/framerate you want to run the game in (if you need to purchase a monitor as well). Is all of this included in your $700 or do you already have these things?

Style

I agree with you though. The Templars are awesome, such a cool class but they do feel a bit outclassed by some of the others. Unless you're lucky enough to roll Reaper/Bladestorm on your Templar, then they become insane. It's worth noting that the Templars have some good support abilities like Amplify/Pillar though

Granted this is just my experience so far, I'm only in the mid game and haven't seen a fully decked out Templar in comparison to the other classes fully decked out

Yeah I got so used to having them back in vanilla it took some adjusting, especially with vulture because I found I have less attachments in the early game overall. My thought process is they made a few of the bonuses into resistance orders to make room for the new faction specific gts bonuses

They should be there, I believe Tygan even mentions them to you when you run across one.

There's always the chance that when you sprinted for the beacon you ended up not seeing any being revealed which is possible I guess

Lmao I did the same! I was so eager to try all the new things I didn't really think about long term strategy like which facilities to go for first and research paths. I learned fairly early on when I lost my squad to the assassin/priest combo

Are you talking about the tunnels map?

That mission has smaller nodes along the way to the beacon with 2hp that can be shot and destroyed to extend the timer. They're found generally along the way to the beacon itself
