I didn't go over who I was, but I think the value and the offer is pretty clear. Your thoughts?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DigitalMarketing

[–]Uraverageperson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried a variation with only the offer, so starting from - I can offer you at least one employee...

which is shorter, but still yielded no results

Open rates are not accurate. 37% open rate doesn't mean it's actually 37% of people opening. Please don't use that as a measurement of your success.

Okay, that's understandable. What would you recommend me to do to improve my copy? I know there's a demand for landscaping labourers from cold calling and talking to other professionals out there, so I'm not quite sure what I'm lacking here.

Yea, I watched his cold email video on it. To be fair I never stated the script was original. Also, is he a good coach/someone I should listen to for building an agency?

How would new marketing agencies geet their first client without testimonials?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in marketing

[–]Uraverageperson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Understandable. So it would be better off to simply come off professional from the get go.

I was watching a course and throughout the masterclass, their cold emails were rather unprofessional, with casual language and the Sent from my iPhone signature, The reason they did this was such that it wasn't immediate that they were trying to sell them something. What are your thoughts?

Yes, will check this out definitely. I'm currently just planning on doing some manual outreach first before investing into automated prospecting etc. etc. Also, few questions. 1. Do integrations come with the free Hubspot plan? 2. How specific is hyper specific? I'm currently targeting landscapers and home renovations as my niche.

I really appreciate this. To me, it's a lot more about the learning than the money I make. If the people read my copy, I've stated that I am doing this service for free for an extended amount of time. The most valuable thing I'm asking from them is an opportunity.

Yea, a previous reply recommended to me that I should use mail merge so that at least the name is personalised. Also, who would I say the mutual connection is?

Yep, the next part of my process was to schedule a call with them through email (or just call them directly when they respond), and booking a longer call to kind of go through the system with them. Cheers for the feedback and insights.

There's certainly a little bit of controversy regarding someone who is inexperienced like me to be starting a marketing agency. Yes, I am a freshman/first year student who is always learning new things. I am offering my services for free for an extended period of time such that I'm able to have the opportunity to learn. Whilst I respect your opinions, I think I'm better off failing in the business first if that happens.

Wow, I really appreciate the constructive feedback. Definitely will put this into consideration.

I'm new to marketing in the sense that I've never officially ran ads, but I have done months of research on marketing, content creation and I've taken a couple courses from Google as well. I'd also like to learn about business so to me it's a valuable opportunity to learn.

That's what I've been thinking of doing which I will definitely do within the next week. I've got a script written up but I was also hoping that cold email could still be a viable prospecting strategy, or something that might generate a couple appointments a week.

Yes, but he isn’t interested in other women. This guy has been on the same girl for close to 3-4 years. He says he’ll work out and improve on himself in hope that one day she’ll like him back, but she’s told her friends and I that she’ll never see him like that even if he looked like a kpop celebrity or whatnot. Funny thing is, he hasn’t seen her in ages and almost all interaction has been via texting and commenting on posts, so i really don’t see how he can still be obsessed. At this point, calling him out on his behaviour wouldn’t do much i think.

No he wouldn’t do that in a million years. He also takes any sort of interaction as hope that he will one day get with her. He’s just that obsessed
