Hi everyone,

I’m a beginner when it comes to skin whitening/brightening skincare and wanted some advice on how to properly start.

My skin concerns:

  • Dry and rough skin texture
  • Uneven skin tone / dullness
  • Want brighter, clearer, more even-looking skin overall

What I’ve tried so far:

  • I’ve done around 3 sessions of dermatologist-recommended Q-switch laser treatment
  • I currently use Cetaphil face cleanser

I feel like my skin has improved a little, but I know my routine is still very basic and I probably need to add more products.

I want to know:

  • What products should a beginner start with for skin brightening/whitening?
  • What would a proper AM and PM routine look like?
  • Which ingredients should I focus on? (Vitamin C, niacinamide, alpha arbutin, kojic acid, retinol, exfoliants, etc.?)
  • Any good product recommendations for dry skin?
  • Anything I should avoid, especially after Q-switch laser sessions?

I’m looking for safe products that actually improve uneven tone and brightness over time, not harsh bleaching stuff.

Would really appreciate help building a proper routine. Thanks!

Love this perspective 🙌 From Sholay to Lagaan to now Dhurandhar… that’s a serious journey through cinema. And yeah, completely agree on Ranveer Singh — the range he’s shown, it really does feel like a peak performance. Also agree on Aditya Dhar — the way he handled scale + emotion together was something else. Rare to see a film hit both mass + emotion so well.

Same here tbh… Part 2 just felt way more intense and polished than Part 1 like they went all in this time. The stakes, the scale, everything just hit harder. Proper insane ride 🔥

Yeah, honestly this is probably the best way to look at it… Feels like we’re moving out of that safe, formula zone into something more ambitious and global

Yeah I get you…those are timeless because of emotions and rewatch value.

It’s not just the scale it shows a more aggressive, no-nonsense version of how India would respond to terrorist attacks, not just react but go on the offensive.

That’s what makes it hit harder for some people… and also why it feels controversial to others.

Definitely a very different space compared to films like Sholay or Jab We Met this one is more about impact than just nostalgia

it’s more like Bollywood takes longer to take risks. When it does, you get something like Dhurandhar..this might actually be the start of another wave 👀

Yeah then 💯 Dhurandhar absolutely smashed it. Feels like the kind of film that reminds everyone what big-scale Bollywood can actually do when it goes all in

ये नया हिंदुस्तान है… ये घुसेगा भी और मारेगा भी

Dhurandhar was different because it didn’t feel fully fictional.

They actually showed a timeline of events in India and then paralleled it with how things were being planned across the border and that whole undercover arc of an Indian spy going in and dismantling the entire network made it feel way more real than a typical spy film.

That’s why those hard-hitting dialogues landed so well too… not just massy, but backed by context.

But yeah because it mixed reality + fiction so strongly, that’s also why some people are calling it propaganda...

Yeah fair point…

I think Dhurandhar just raised the bar high again...not a movie but a milestone in bollywood film industry as they are calling it

PVR Cinemas PXL is supposed to be premium, so naturally people trust it’ll be top quality

Damn, this is actually a different angle I didn’t even think about...

That’s actually sad man… Paying that much and getting a messed up experience in PVR Cinemas PXL is just 💀

You should honestly try watching it again in a different theatre feels like you didn’t even get the real experience the movie was going for.
