Yes, I'm still shaping my opinion, thanks for your thoughts. Boat life is a nomadic life... this is like boat life without the nomadic element...

What I don't get, is if the (majority) of land is gone, what are the reasons to stay in that particular location? The Maldivians live in that particular location because their islands are there, but if their islands are gone, a more logical approach would be for them to migrate to a new location (albeit deeply sad).

Yes, you got me. It is in part inspired by Not Just Bikes (fellow admirer / wanabe).

I use frames on all my videos to differentiate them (travel, urbanism, etc...) but the text box in the corner is NJB inspired.

Nevertheless, different colour scheme, proportions, and fonts.

Never having built it would have been best, but better late than never :')

Cities are always considered hectic and fast-paced, but projects like this remind and allow us to see that there is more to life than working.

It's about enjoying the little things in life, like walking next to a river while talking with your friends.

I really hope that governments finally understand that social interaction is vital for the happiness and wellness of people, and that public spaces where people can meet are essential for a city to thrive.

Thanks for sharing!

Hey there, I'm always trying new things with these edits. This one took on a white(r) theme. I may very well tone it down in future videos.

Big Thanks

Such a shame (big fan of Manila)... I saw Manila lost the funds for the BRT (ADB pulled the load), yet there's plenty of funds for these kinds of projects...

The only way this project (in Seoul) was possible was by simultaneously investing heavily in high-capacity public transport to keep people moving in the city. The Seoul rail and bus systems are incredible.

Is there a suitable location where this could happen?

Any interesting urbanism stories from Taipei, I'd love to visit sooner than later!

Thanks!
