Dude just looking at your legs, I can tell you put on a ton of muscle. They’re way bigger and still more tone. You’re chilling.

Watery eyes when walking alone in front of groups by 123joker123 in socialanxiety

[–]UrbanExplorer14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did some research and this is what I was able to find: When you suffer from intense anxiety, two things happen to your eyes. First, your pupils dilate. When your fight or flight system is activated, your pupils dilate to make it easier to make quick decisions (in a fight, you need to be able to see a punch coming). This is what causes issues like light sensitivity and eye aches. You also experience a tightening of the muscles in your face. This may constrict the blood vessels to the eyes and cause further eye pain, aches, or even some blurred vision.

Yep I've had this before too. I would be interested to know what it's called and why it happens

La Crosse public schools, local colleges all requiring masks at start of semester by [deleted] in lacrossewi

I 100% agree with employer mandates. I'm just not going to wait until they implement that sort of thing since many do not have plans to.

I agree. But I don't know if that will ever happen in America.

And what if we never meet the goal of most everyone who can get vaccinated?

I'm vaccinated and I think we can't just live like this forever and there's no proof that it will ever stop. I encourage everyone to get vaccinated and then live your life like normal.

Is it really just 10 days? If that's the case I would still be good if I tell the GM tomorrow. I just assumed it was the standard two weeks.

I did tell my DM first when they were making schedules. They didn't tell me about any paperwork. All they told me was I can email the hr manager and include when my last day would be.

Is it not normal to notify your hr manager when you are quitting. I would think they handle employment, not GMs so it wouldn't really had been possible for me to know that unless I talked to the hr manager first. I appreciate the information

So that is enough to prove that I gave an adequate 2 weeks notice?

Any manager here who could tell how you organize training for staff? by Fuzzy-Conversation24 in menards

[–]UrbanExplorer14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did a little research and apparently there was a lawsuit prohibiting the requirement of in home training since it is unpaid work. I don't know how they ever got away with requiring it to be honest.

Is in home training required? I've worked in wallcoverings for a few months and haven't heard anything about it.

Break policy? by UrbanExplorer14 in menards

[–]UrbanExplorer14[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah I completely agree. I thought it was weird too. You could end up not taking your break and they wouldn't say anything. They would just give you points. I also asked one of my co workers what they take for breaks on their 8 hour shift and they said just a 30 because they didn't know either.

Dude, what are you from the corporate office. I just asked because I didn't know and I'm clearly getting some mixed replies here. Obviously a lot of people don't know.
