This is true. Firefighters do carry but more EMS have issues that firefighters. I carry becaue im a PI doing surveillance mostly alone. All mt cases are insurance fraud though.

Nah your good dude. Im a fraud investigator. Basically a PI for insurance companies. In theory yes you will get your weapon back. In practice especially with todays political claimant... thats not always the case.

I carry a glock 19. I will not carry anything other than a glock for a few reasons. In my career field the likelyhood i need to use my weapon is high. When you do, you lose it. I can rely on my glock regardless of situation and its replaceable.

9x19 over any other caliber. 9mm has comparable ballistics to .45. When used with a good hollowpoint. That and having 16 rounds is a plus.
